SHCS compost spreader line is a hydraulically operated machine that requires little maintenance. The hydraulically driven motor controls the speed of the rotor, which in turn controls the amount of material that is dropped from the spreader without having a bearing on the tractor’s ground speed. The hopper is loaded using a hydraulically controlled rear flap directly from the tractor. This spreader is designed to spreader a range of materials (like compost to sand, gravel, salt, saw dust, etc.) which would not be possible from a standard disc spreaders. It also has a rubber protector that ensures larger partials cannot get lodged in the rotor. The SHCS compost spreader is available in either a 1.5m (750kg hoper capacity) or a 2.0m (900kg hopper capacity) spreader width. Both models suit Cat 2 tractors from 35-50hp.
